A campfire is much, much more than just a fire. In this article, we'll tell you about the importance of a campfire and how to make it a success.
While it's true that fire itself is impactful, there's more to a campfire than that. A campfire is about dedicating time and enjoying time with family or friends. It's about stopping the time that usually passes quickly. It's about breaking the routine to give your full attention to your loved ones and enjoy every minute of their company. That's why the attitude you adopt in these moments is important, more than just ordering your children, spouse, etc., to put away their cell phones.

To integrate your family into this special moment, the following is important:
If you have a cell phone, put on some music before starting the fire, preferably music that everyone likes!!
Prepare chocolates, popcorn, drinks, and place chairs around the bonfire for everyone who will be participating.
Try having your family help you light the fire. This will help them put their cell phones aside and get interested in the fire.
When lighting the bonfire you can call the whole family and tell them that you want to talk to them seriously about something that you had kept secret for years and with this you can start a joke, some embarrassing situation you went through, or a scary situation and you can invite the family to participate, you should be prepared to participate several times at the beginning to encourage your family's participation.
You can carry out several activities that you should plan, an example is the following:
Each member must thank another member for one or more things they have contributed to their life and must apologize if there is a particular situation. At the end, they must raise their hands and change partners.
At the end, each member must say goodbye as if they had to take a flight without return.
Once everyone has finished passing, a family hug is suggested.
Afterward, you can continue with more fun activities like singing karaoke or playing a fun game. We suggest searching for them on YouTube.
Building a good bonfire will allow you to strengthen your relationships with your family, but above all, to embed in your memory and in the memories of your family those moments that money can't buy.
IMPORTANT NOTE!! Making a campfire is a very special moment, but take every precaution to prevent it from spreading or causing an accident. Therefore, keep anything that could easily catch fire away from the fire. Stay alert and prepared with one or more buckets of water just in case.
At Roberta's Chalett, we have a bonfire area that will make your trip a memorable experience!
